At the workshop, specifically set up for this project, all the piping for the Terminal and for the truck loading stations have been welded.
4 truck loading bay skid stations – impressive 18m long and 2.5m wide structural steel assemblies with cryogenic supports for 28 isometrics that were mounted and welded together on the stations – are finished and tested. Prefabricated station steel frames were made and sent to the dedicated workshop in Belgium by our group company and trusted steel manufacturer Nord Steel.
These works are part of the Zeebrugge LNG Terminal capacity increase project owned by the Belgian energy infrastructure group Fluxys. The project aims to expand the capacity of one of the first LNG Terminals in Europe, while substantially reducing its environmental footprint.
