Construction at the Brunsbüttel LNG Terminal is advancing at pace. With the construction permit now in place, work is progressing according to plan.
As part of our contract with Gasfin Development, MT Group is constructing a 60MW heater facility at the Brunsbüttel FSRU LNG terminal, operated by DET Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH. This facility will play a key role in ensuring efficient LNG regasification, enhancing Germany’s energy security and infrastructure.
On-site, MT Group has completed temporary access roads and installed the working platform for pile-driving machinery. Piling activities – critical to the project’s foundation – are well underway.
Meanwhile, in Lithuania, prefabrication of piping and steel structures is in full swing. After fabrication spools are set for pressure testing. Once testing is complete, surface treatment will follow before transportation to Germany.
