Progress continues at pace on the heater facility at the Brunsbüttel LNG Terminal, operated by DET Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH, with several major milestones recently achieved under our contract with Gasfin.

The project has entered a critical phase. All 6 heat exchangers and exhaust stacks are now installed, and the first boiler has been successfully positioned, marking the official start of equipment installation. This represents a significant step forward in bringing the facility’s core systems online.

Civil works are nearing completion, with the final foundations scheduled for concreting this week. Once complete, the structural groundwork will be fully in place, allowing a shift in focus to above-ground systems and final assemblies.

In the mechanical scope, secondary steel structures have begun to rise. Gas pipeline welding is underway, alongside preassembly of the water intake lines – crucial components for system functionality and safety.

Electrical and instrumentation work is also progressing steadily, with the 10kV cable system installation now in motion.

Our sincere thanks to all teams on-site for their dedication and precision, and to the Gasfin team for their professionalism and partnership – both central to keeping this project on track.
