MT Group, a leading EPC contractor for heavy industry, has signed a new three-year standby agreement with Amber Grid, Lithuania’s natural gas transmission system operator. This agreement will see MT Group providing essential gas transmission system maintenance, repair, and emergency services. The maximum value of the work to be performed under this contract is set at EUR 1.9 million.

The scope of work covered under this contract includes the supervision, repair, and emergency maintenance of gas transmission system objects. These services encompass both regular maintenance and capital repairs when necessary.

MT Group will carry out these tasks for Amber Grid’s high-pressure gas pipeline networks, which operate at pressures up to 54 bar, and pipelines with diameters ranging from DN50 to DN1200 mm. The work will also extend to gas distribution and metering stations in Panevėžys and Jauniūnai, as well as the gas compressor stations.

This new agreement solidifies our commitment to ensuring the safety and efficiency of gas infrastructure throughout the country.”

MT Group has a proven track record of excellence in working with Amber Grid, having successfully executed various projects, including the reconstruction of the Vievis, Kėdainiai, and Grigiškės gas distribution stations, the reconstruction works of the Kiemenai Gas Metering Station, and their ongoing involvement in the Vilnius-Kaunas Main Gas Pipeline Reconstruction Project. These endeavors have reinforced MT Group’s reputation as a reliable and expert partner in the energy sector.
